Porangahau (in New Zealand's North Island) is a unique coastal experience and is famous for it's seafood. Located just and just 44 kms from Waipukurau, it also boasts the longest place name in the world:

... which translates into English as "The brow of the hill where Tamatea, with the bony knees, who slid and climbed mountains, the great traveller, sat and played on the flute to his beloved."
